It’s easy to book your journey with Glasgow Taxis using our Web Booker service.
And easier still if you download our free iPhone app. Register with Web Booker and you’ll be able to quickly and easily book a taxi online.

As well as making the booking online, you can:

Track your vehicle's progress to your pick-up online

Request a message on approach for your bookings

Make your own list of favourite bookings and pick-up or drop-off locations

Request email confirmation of the dispatch stages of your booking

Export your online bookings history to PDF or Excel file

Obtain a street-to-street estimate of the fare

IVR System

Interactive Voice Response (IVR) is an automated taxi booking system which allows you to book a taxi by phone without have to speak to an operator.

All you have to do when you register is enter your three favourite pick-up points.

Then, when you phone the normal 0141 429 7070 number you will go straight onto the IVR automated service (although you’ll still have the option of speaking to an operator if you wish) and be asked to key in 1, 2 or 3 on your phone to choose your pick-up point. You’ll press 1 for a taxi to be despatched as soon as possible, with other options available.

To register for IVR just call 0141 429 7070 and our operators will answer any questions you have and guide you through the quick and simple set-up process.

Glasgow Taxis iPhone App

Our free iPhone app allows quick and simple taxi booking. Go to the iTunes Apps Store for our free app and gain access to the following features:

Send your pick-up point
via built-in Google map

The app uses the existing Web Booker system, so if you are already a registered Web Booker customer there is no need to register to use the iPhone app.

Customers can book a taxi using the iHail function, which uses the iPhone’s built-in GPS to determine the customers pick-up point.

Track your taxi's progress live on your iPhone

The app also allows you to enter your full pick-up and drop-off address for a booking, including special instructions and vehicle preference. You can also obtain an estimated fare and, once the taxi is despatched you can track its progress live on your iPhone. There are also a number of automatic ‘on approach’ notification options.

Even faster booking with ‘Favourite Locations’

You can also create a list of your favourite locations in the app which can further speed up the booking process. These ‘Favourite Locations’ are reflected both in the app and in your online Web Booker account for creating bookings via our website.

Easier to find a taxi rank

The system also has a handy ‘Find a Rank’ function so you can easily find nearest taxi rank to where you are. Your past jobs using any of the Web Booker services are also listed in the app - so you can review your booking history from your iPhone.
