HUNDREDS of Glasgow Taxis’ members, drivers, staff and their families gathered to enjoy another memorable fun day yesterday (Sunday 2 July).

The annual gettogether, held in the grounds of Glasgow Taxis Boden Street base, saw visitors of all ages flock for food, drink, fun and games.

And once again everyone connected with Glasgow Taxis showed their generosity by helping raise a tidy sum for three of our favourite causes – the Beatson Cancer Charity, CHAS and the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice. Cheques will be presented to the thee charities later this summer.

Speaking on behalf of the Glasgow Taxis Ltd executive committee, chairman Stephen Flynn said: “A big thanks to everyone who made our 2017 Fun Day another memorable event, especially all the local companies who supported it. It’s great to see people of all ages come together and enjoy themselves and just as pleasing that we can all give a little back to three fantastic causes.”

The date for the 2018 Glasgow Taxis Fun Day will be announced in due course.
