Glasgow Taxis Ltd is pleased to announce its continued sponsorship of the Glasgow Taxis Cup until at least 2025.

The student varsity sporting competition which started in 2004 is contested by all three of Glasgow’s universities – Glasgow University, Glasgow Caledonian and Strathclyde – and is the largest competition of its kind in Scotland.

This year’s competition saw hundreds of student-athletes compete across 16 different sports, with Glasgow University being crowned the overall winner for the seventh time.

Glasgow Taxis Chairman Stephen Flynn, said: “The Glasgow Taxis Cup has developed into one of the foremost student sporting competitions in the country, and we are proud to have our name associated with such an event.

“Working closely with all three universities throughout the year, we hope to contribute towards the further growth of the Glasgow Taxis Cup in coming years.”
